The RELAP5-3D Development Team has an extensive verification suite that is used to validate the code prior to a code release. Nevertheless, users may perform RELAP5-3D analyses that extend the code beyond the boundary conditions of its development assessment.  For such applications, users are recommended to submit all code errors or troubles so that the RELAP5-3D Development Team can address them in future code releases.​

​​​Resolution of submitted user trouble reports are prioritized within the RELAP5-3D Development Team based on:

  1. Impact on the IRUG membership,
  2. Extent of required code modifications,
  3. Existence of experiment data to validate the required code modifications. 

For submitted user trouble reports, the RELAP5-3D Development Team will provide an update on resolution progress at the annual International RELAP5 User Group meeting.
